C. PROJECT PROPOSALS: |
1 | Building plans proposal for additions and alterations in respect of Commercial/Residential building at plot no. 2955, Kucha Maidas, Bazar Sita Ram, Delhi-110006. | |
- The North-DMC forwarded (online) the proposal for consideration by the Commission.
- The Commission did not approve the building plans proposal (Formal) at its meeting held on March 28, 2024, April 18, 2024 and May 16, 2024 respectively. And the concept of the building plans proposal was not accepted by the Commission at its meeting held on April 25, 2024 and May 24, 2024 respectively, and specific observations were made.
- The revised building plan proposal for additions/alterations (some additions in existing ground floor, and addition of first, second, and third floor above) received (online) at the formal stage was scrutinized along with the previous observations of the Commission communicated vide DUAC Conceptually Unsuitable Letter No.: OL-18052427026 dated May 29, 2024. Based on the previous observations given, and the revised submission made, the following observations are to be complied with:
a) The Commission observed that while considering the case for additions/alterations, it did not consider or cover the existing construction at the site. This concerns the proposal for additions/alterations only.
b) Sustainability features shall be as per point no. 7 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in.
c) All water tanks, rainwater pipes, plumbing pipes, service equipment, outdoor air-conditioner units, solar panels etc. should be camouflaged appropriately (in terms of point nos. 10, 11 & 12 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) as available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in.

2 | Proposal in respect of Enclosing Southern Corridor in Front of Court No.1 To 5 with Structural Glazing, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi. | |
- The CPWD forwarded (online) the proposal for consideration by the Commission.
- The Commission did not approve the proposal (Formal) at its meeting held on May 09, 2024, specific observations were made.
- The proposal in respect of Enclosing Southern Corridor in Front of Court No.1 To 5 with Structural Glazing, Supreme Court of India received (online) at the formal stage was scrutinized along with the previous observations of the Commission communicated vide DUAC Observation letter no: OL-01052462009 dated May 16, 2024. Based on the submission made, the following observations are to be complied with:
a) The Commission observed that while considering the case for additions/alterations, it did not consider or cover the existing construction at the site. This concerns the proposal for additions/alterations only.
b) It is suggested that the symmetry of the vertical mullion in the glazing be maintained.

3 | Revised Plans proposal for additions and alterations in respect of Asset 13 (addition of 7th floor and internal layout changes), at LP1A, Hospitality District, DIAL Aerocity, IGI Airport. | |
- The DIAL forwarded (online) the proposal for consideration by the Commission.
- Earlier, the concept of the proposal was accepted by the Commission at its meeting held on June 12, 2019 and the Commission approved the plans (Formal) in respect of Asset 13, Hospitality District, Dial Aerocity, IGI Airport at its October 12, 2019, meeting.
- The revised plans proposal for additions/alterations (internal layout changes, and addition of a seventh floor above) received (online) at the formal stage was scrutinized, and a detailed discussion was held with the architect on Cisco Web Ex meetings who provided clarifications to the queries of the Commission. Based on the discussion held online, and the revised submission made, the following observations are to be complied with:
a) Work of public art of suitable scale, size and material, imparting character and identity to the complex, at an appropriate level which is also visible from outside, to be installed in terms of the point nos. 14 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in.
b) Sustainability features shall be as per point no. 7 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in.
c) All water tanks, rainwater pipes, plumbing pipes, service equipment, outdoor air-conditioner units, solar panels, DG Set, DG exhaust pipes etc. should be camouflaged appropriately (in terms of point nos. 10, 11 & 12 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) as available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in. | | Approved. 4 | Building plans proposal in respect of Redevelopment of IMA (Indian Medical Association) headquarter at Indraprastha Marg, IP Estate. (Conceptual Stage) | |
- The proposal was forwarded directly by the Architect (online) for consideration by the Commission.
- No previous record of approval (Formal/Completion) taken has been found in the Commission's available record. The Commission did not accept the concept of building plans proposal at its meeting held on April 25, 2024, specific observations were made.
- The revised building plan proposal for the Redevelopment of the IMA headquarters received (online) at the conceptual stage was scrutinized along with the replies submitted in response to the previous observations of the Commission communicated vide DUAC Conceptually Unsuitable Letter No.: OL-17042427015 dated April 29, 2024. Based on the replies submitted and the revised submission made, the following observations are to be complied with:
a) The Commission acknowledges that the architect has met the current parking requirements for the site. However, given that the proposal includes an auditorium with a capacity of 280 persons, it is suggested to increase the height of the stilts/basement to allow for more stack parking provisions in the future.
b) Work of public art of suitable scale, size and material, imparting character and identity to the complex, at an appropriate level which is also visible from outside, ensure to be installed in terms of the point nos. 14 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in.
c) Sustainability features shall be as per point no. 7 of the CPAA (Criterion for Project Assessment and Approval) as available on the DUAC website at www.duac.org.in.
