Public Area improvement of New Delhi South Extension

South Extension area has since turned into a deplorable condition on account of extensive commercialization, haphazard development, absence of basic amenities etc. The Commission felt that it is high time that proper controls are exercised to put things in order. Accordingly, the Commission decided to take up the South Extension area for conducting a survey and preparation of a conceptual plan. The report was presented to the then Hon’ble Lt. Governor ,Delhi. The MCD subsequently proposed to take up for preparing DPR.
